I think the growing pains of coming to terms with a franchise that is like this is difficult, but I believe that ultimately, it will make for a healthier franchise. I think it okay if not everyone loves every LIS game, though I understand that, right now, that kind of bad cause there only two (three, I guess, with BTS).
Overall, I think that LIS 2 being so different will be a good thing. Right now It definitely split the fandom. There no real question about that and I certainly not ignorant enough to say that it only made it stronger. But I feel that this kind of split is more temporary than it seems.
